I recently grew an OBSESSION with crystal grids. They are magic! It brings out my creative flow and guides me into a trance with my meditations. I decided to create an easy way for beginners to understand HOW to set up a crystal grid and a fun way to set your intentions for this new year!
What You Need to Make Your 1st Crystal Grid:
- Tapestry
- Intention
- Stones that align with your intention
- 1 Master Crystal
- Sacred Space
1. Setting Your Intention:
The first step is to decide what goal or intention you are looking to manifest. Be specific with your purpose, this is the key element in empowering your stones energy.
Then, write down your intention on a piece of paper or on the back of a photo that depicts your goal!

2. Choosing Your Crystals
Pick crystals and stones that align with your intention and enhance it. Choose one master crystal that you will placing in the center with your intention.
I chose Amethyst because it enhances spiritual connection
3. Sacred Space
Set up your tapestry or grid in a place where your intentions are focused or in a safe spot you won’t be disturbed.
I normally do it in my living room or bedroom because those are the spaces i’m typically in
Cleanse your space to clear the old energy for the new! Cleansing methods include burning sage, placing a crystal cluster in the room, or bowls of sea salt. Flowers, incense, music, or candles can add ambiance in your sacred space.
4. Placing Your Crystals
As a beginner, use your intuition on where to place each stone. Once you’ve practiced a few times, you will start using sacred geometry, colors, or mental programming when placing your crystals.
Begin by placing your intention in the center, along with your master crystal. Then keep working towards the center and move outward.
5. Activating Your Grid
Once you’ve finished the grid, bring yourself to a meditative position. Take a few minutes to relax and powerfully visualize your intention. Stay focused and keep a calm mind.
6. Gratitude
ALWAYS end with a prayer of gratitude.
