1. CONNECT TO THE EARTH
Ground yourself by taking a walk or hike outside in nature. Earth is the element of stability, groundedness, fertility, materiality, potential, stillness, and abundance. Earth elements allow us to become solidly real – being present in the here and now and feeling the vitality of Mother Nature.
2. SURROUND YOURSELF WITH THE COLOR RED
Do this by simply decorating your home or wearing the color red. You can also bring Earth elements into your space with plants and crystals!
3. CONNECT WITH YOUR PHYSICAL BODY
Our house is a home for our body, just like our body is a home for our spirit. The task of mastering the 1st chakra is ultimately to understand and heal the body.
- Give your body exercise
- Give your body nurturing food + fuel
- Give your body rest + pleasure
To validate the body is to identify with it. If your chest hurts, you should question if your emotional heart is actually hurt.
4. MEDITATION
Reconnect to your roots and release any fears that are no longer serving you.
Find a sacred space (outside in nature or create your own) where you won’t be interrupted!
Meditate on the ground in lotus position (where our root chakra is the closest or touching the ground)
Visualize breathing in the color red.
